direct connection to a “Gibsons Marina” node while in Gibsons Harbour and
Area.
Gibsons Marina Coupon Users Information
We
currently offer complimentary Internet Wifi Coupons to our Visiting Guests. Please inquire at the Marina Office.
If you have already obtained a Coupon
Code it is redeemed on our entry page. If you are using only one
device you will have instant seamless access with that device after you register. If you
have more than one device be
sure to save the information that is e-mailed back
to you.
The
e-mail subject will be "Your BlueMesh Account" sent from
Bluemesh.net:
E-Mail will be from bluemesh.net
Subject: Your BlueMesh Account.
You may need this for subsequent log-ins (random security checks) and if you have more than one device
you want to
use.
Using Multiple Devices:
Create
only ONE account, you can share it with all your other devices by
simply logging into your account with them using the info e-mailed to you from bluemesh.net. You will be asked if you want to (also) transfer your account to this (new) device. Answer yes.
You
do NOT need a seperate
account for every device you or your guests may have.
If you are staying more than one day you can “top up” your account
with
subsequent coupon codes when required. This is much easier than trying
to keep track of expiry dates and times on several device accounts. This DOES NOT slow
you down or compromise your security in any way. It really helps us if you should need tech support.
Please be be patient, the security server is looking after
thousands of log-ins, and it can sometimes take five to ten minutes to receive your
account "credentials". Most times you will receive the e-mail right
away. If you believe it has taken too long:
Check your spam settings and folder. If you are using "tethered" devices check them all for the e-mail. If that fails ask for another coupon for the second device. (sorry about that)
All users of this system MUST be registered

folks, I know it's a tad annoying however this is not the average “public”
system. It is a privately owned *secure pay system. “Registration” is neccesary to keep this network as secure
as possible for you and all other guests. Your "registration"
information is NOT used for any other purpose than to provide security
and to enhance and facilitate your use of this Network, NEVER for any other reason. Create only one account it can be shared.. Use a real name, and valid e-mail address or obviously you will never receive your password. Be
sure to save the information that is e-mailed back
to you.

"Public Wifi" - We use 128-bit SSL encryption for ALL Log-In and
transaction activity. This is the Industry Standard for safe Internet
Business. If you are opening a pay account your CC number or any details about it are never "seen" or
available to us.
Registration is automated. We do not see, nor can we access any
information you provide when registering other than what is required to
provide you with service and security. We do not track, we do not "capture data", we do not even "see" your e-mail address.
FREE Accounts
You DO NOT need to enter any credit card information to open a Free account.
It is Free, there are no catches, like all users you have to "register".
After you register you will be given a choice of "accounts"
choose the FREE one ("$0.00")

Tech Support
Please
do not ask busy Marina Staff for tech support, they cannot provide it
and rely on me to look after that for them. I am local and easy to contact. My Phone
Numbers and e-mail information is on the entry page.
If you are
really having problems I will come to your boat. Free Boat calls are
subject to me being available - and of course during reasonable hours -
phone calls from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every day are OK. Otherwise you may txt 24/7 to the cell# (on entry page). If you have an alternate means you can e-mail me anytime. This applies
to ALL accounts, including Free accounts. I should have you online in a few minutes if you are having problems .....
Before calling please check this...
*There are TWO steps to getting online with a coupon. The system is automated.
First you have to enter basic information about yourself including a real name and a valid
e-mail address AND your Coupon Code. When you click on "submit" the
security system validates, creates your account and sends you the
information it created by e-mail that you need to get on-line .
Second - at the log in page enter the Username and Password the system
e-mailed to you. You only have to do that once. Once it likes you,
subsequent connections are automatic. (the system does perform random security checks. You may be asked for your account info again, keep it handy).
* "Invalid Coupon Code" or "Invalid Phone Number".
When entering phone numbers or coupon codes be certain to enter the "Dashes. eg. code XGF-GSW-JJG
* Where's my Coupon Code?
Coupon codes are in the above format and are usually on the back of the wifi handout.
Additional Codes for additional days are available at Gibsons Marina
Office. If the Office is closed you may e-mail or txt a request for a
code.
* If
you are having problems being re-directed to our entry page, try deleting browser cache and browser history. Close

Privacy and Security
We place a high value on privacy and security when on line. Offering you a service with the highest level of Privacy and Security available
is very important to us. To ensure this, and that you have
the best on-line experience possible we have

Of little interest...but someone asked once...
Blocked Sites and Bandwidth restrictions?
Some
WISPs (Wireless Internet Service Providers) that offer "Public WiFi" employ throttling or
outright blocking of certain sites such as Netflix, You Tube, Skype
Video etc. to save bandwidth. WE DO NOT BLOCK
or hinder your experience in any way. This Network was designed and
constructed to support streaming. It is fed with a dedicated hi-speed
commercial line and usually runs at less than 10% of capacity. Happy
